October 25-27, 2024 Spirituality of Recovery Retreat

During the weekend, participants will be engaged in discussions and activities move from what got us here, through some of the basic content of the 12 Steps, to reclaiming personal dreams and changes essential for reaching them. There will be time for walking the labyrinth, the 12 Step Path through Springbank’s beautiful woods and sitting under Grandmother Tree, receiving energy and healing. Group topics and activities are adapted for this retreat from A Spiritual Awakening: Incorporating Spirituality in Treatment Programs written by Rev. Dr. Helene Loper who is also a certified peer support specialist in Alabama.

Arrival and departure: Arrive by 5.00pm on Friday and depart after last session on Sunday

Starts on Friday with dinner at 5.30 pm followed by opening session. Ends on
Sunday at 4.30pm
